What can you do to have great Wedding Photos 6/6?

IS IT BETTER TO HAVE TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS INSTEAD OF ONE?

With two wedding photographers

• it is possible to have such photos as: a photo of the bride walking down the aisle (from the groom’s perspective) and, at the same time, a photo of the groom looking at his future wife for the first time on their wedding day; a photo of the happy couple’s faces the moment they say YES and at the same time photos of their parents’ emotions and many many more…
• there is a better chance of capturing important moments – especially in a crowded place where it’s hard to quickly move from one place to another,
• it is possible to simultaneously photograph two different situations – two photographers are especially useful during the reception where many different things happen in different place sat the same time,
• you get two different perspectives of the same subject when photographed by a male and a female photographer,
• it is possible to have those unique photos from both the bride’s and the groom’s morning preparations and you can choose which photographer to have with whom (some brides feel more comfortable with a female photographer…)
• your photos will be well lit, because the second photographer works like a strobe ‘remotely controlled’ by the main photographer to help you look your best on your wedding photos.

Basically, with two photographers you get a lot more better and more interesting photos!

What can you do to have great Wedding Photos 5/6?

WHEN TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT?

1) ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

Advantages

• possibility of capturing the actual mood and looks of the married couple
• usually allows for a quicker assembly and montage of the wedding album

Disadvantages

• you have to be careful at all times during a photo shoot and always make sure  your dress is perfectly clean
• lack of time resulting in lack of varied and interesting backdrops
• the photographer often has to work in sharp, direct sunlight which is not ideal for your wedding photos
• you have to leave the wedding guests for a while
• you are 100% dependent on the weather unless you choose to have the photos taken inside the building

2) AFTER YOUR WEDDING DAY

Advantages

• plenty of time
• you can have the photos taken in several different places, use more original ideas, which makes the photos much more interesting
• you can choose the time, light and what’s most important – the weather
• you don’t have to worry about your wedding dress anymore and even climb the trees in it if you feel adventurous :) – therefore some photographers call it a ‘Trash-the-dress’ photo shoot

Disadvantages

• you may have to book your hairdresser and a make-up artist again
• sometimes it is necessary to take some time off work, because usually such photo shoots are organised during the week

What can you do to have great Wedding Photos 4/6?

PART FOUR – AFTER-WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT

• tell the photographer what style of photos or even what exact photos would you like to have
• tell him/her what your hobbies and passions are
• when heading for a photo shoot, don’t take any additional people or a videographer with you
• if you choose the places and the photo shoot is going to last 3-4 hours, make sure you’ve chosen a variety of places and that they are located not far from one another
• choose various places such as meadows, streets, paths, bridges, buildings and so on – the photos will be more interesting
• if it is possible have someone drive you to the photo shoot so that you don’t have to worry about driving
• when the day is hot, remember to take a good foundation/powder with you…
• have a proper rest before the photo shoot
• plan your after-wedding photo shoot after the wedding day so that you don’t have to worry that your dress will get dirty or that your guests will be left alone
