Wedding Planning Checklist

The best way of making sure that every little detail of your wedding is taken into account is to plan your special day in advance by using a Wedding Checklist. Why not create your own folder and a calendar in which you could write down the ideas you really like as well as important dates?

Wedding Checklists help you sleep well by prioritising your tasks. Let’s say you have only seven months to organise your perfect Wedding Day – what do you do?

1) As soon as the decision about getting married has been made, remember to:

  • imagine your wedding style, type of ceremony or wedding colours
  • think about how much money you can spend
  • visit venues and book one once you’re sure it’s perfect for you
  • book the venue or church for ceremony – that includes booking ceremony time/date with minister or registrar
  • start your wedding folder
  • write down your guest list so that you can amend it later
  • imagine your dream wedding dress – look at different styles
  • choose your bridesmaids, best man and ushers – you will need their help
  • get quotes from wedding suppliers and find accomodation for your guests
  • have you thought about your honeymoon? will it be far far away? if yes, think about your passport (are you changing your name?) and find out about neccessary innoculations

2) Six months before your Big Day

  • order the most important dress of your life as well as bridesmaids’ dresses
  • book photographer
  • book florist
  • book transport
  • book musicians or DJ
  • book caterers/any other staff required

  • book make-up artist
  • fancy any wedding entertainment? why not book one too?
  • remember you must look best on your Wedding Day! Now it’s the best time to start a beauty routine.
